How Ductless Heating & Cooling Works

A ductless mini split system is a type of heat pump. Unlike a standard heat pump, which consists of a single indoor and outdoor unit, a ductless heating system has an outdoor unit that connects with multiple indoor units located in the interior of the property.

These indoor units are strategically mounted in each room. The indoor units include a blower and a coil that sends warm and cool air straight into the space. True to its namesake, there are no ducts required for this heating system and the units themselves are discreet.

From an old home to a commercial property in need of a quality system, we’re here to help. Allow our team of HVAC and Electric professionals to design a custom HVAC system that will perfectly align with your needs.

Upon completion of your new installation, we set an adequate amount of time aside to walk you through our training process. This process is to educate the homeowner on exactly how to use your new equipment, best practices, etc.

Energy Recovery Ventilation

What is an ERV system?  An energy recovery ventilator, or ERV, is a system that employs energy recovery technology, such as a static-plate core or rotating wheel. This process uses balanced airflows and recovers otherwise-expended total energy comprised of heat (sensible energy) and humidity (latent heat)

Benefits of a new ERV System

  • Enhance Indoor Air Quality
  • Improve HVAC Efficiency
  • Humidity Control – Keep the Moisture Level Consistently Safe
  • Easy Maintenance

Heat Pumps & Hot Water Heaters

A heat pump water heater offers significant benefits including significantly reduced energy costs due to its high efficiency, lower environmental impact compared to traditional water heaters, ability to extract heat from surrounding air, and potential for improved indoor air quality in some climates, all while providing hot water for your home; making it a cost-effective and eco-friendly option.

Integrated Controls

Maximize savings by pairing an existing air source heat pump with integrated controls. Integrated controls automatically switch between a heat pump and a fossil fuel heating system at a pre-set outdoor temperature. This allows you to minimize the use of a boiler or furnace while maximizing the use of a heat pump to provide maximum savings and comfort. Today’s cold-climate heat pumps can provide efficient heating at outdoor temperatures as low as -15º F and operate at 2–4 times the efficiency of a boiler or furnace

Federal Tax Credit

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA) is the largest ever climate investment by the Federal Government in American history, projected to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) by 31% to 44% below the 2005 levels by 2030. The IRA will also bring energy bill relief to U.S. households by incentivizing the adoption of more efficient, all-electric appliances. Importantly, the IRA recognizes the key role of highly efficient, variable-capacity heat pumps in slashing domestic GHG emissions and lowering energy costs for Americans.
